One of my clients has started the task of looking for Indianapolis Houses for Rent. She, her boyfriend, and her 2 year old daughter are searching for suitable housing for their family after she graduates college.

The number of bank owned homes in Indianapolis, or Indianapolis Foreclosures, is actually down right now because of the government moratorium to stop foreclosures for a few months and let people catch up. Will this work? Will people “catch up”? There is plenty of controversy out there on this subject. Some feel that by allowing people the opportunity to catch up on their payments will save them from foreclosure, others believe that giving a few months reprieve on paying a mortgage payment will just put those already hurting further behind and we are just delaying the inevitable. Who says Bank Owned Homes in Indianapolis aren't for regular-people buyers, that they're only for investors?
The myth was proved wrong today! I showed a client a home at 1413 W. 29th Street, near Riverside Drive. This Marion County Real Estate proved to be much larger on the inside than it's front was leading on. While walking through this bank owned home, we discovered large bedrooms, many kitchen cabinets, a soaring cathedral ceiling, walk-in closets, a large basement, appliances included, and even a friendly front porch with a white picket fence. Amenity after amenity kept revealing itself, and my client quickly placed it on the "Favorites" list, picturing his wife and two young children all together, with the independence of their new home to strech out into.

Ever heard of a Short Sale? In Indiana Short Sale are becoming more common. Although this is a relatively new term to the Indianapolis Indiana Home market, it's been around for quite a while, quietly working behind the scenes.
After a homeowner defaults on their mortgage, they automatically go into forclosure and lose their home to the bank, right? Look at all those Bank Owned Homes Indianapolis has in the Indianapolis MLS! This is not always the case!
A short sale is the step in between, where you communicate with the bank and they take a loss on your unpaid mortgage.
