Broad Ripple Village What's all the fuss about Broad Ripple? Why is it so important for some people to just search for Broad Ripple Homes For Sale. We get calls regularly from buyers saying they are only interested in living in Broad Ripple. So, we decided to ask some of our past customers, "Why?".

"I definitely wanted to live in Broad Ripple because of the energy there. There's always something going on, and I can walk to most everything I need" ~Jamison

"When I first started my home search I was looking for Downtown Indianapolis Real Estate, but the more I searched I realized that Broad Ripple was exactly what I was truly looking for. The commute to my job is easy, plus I get all the benefits of a great night life in the heart of Broad Ripple". ~E. Mathison

"The home prices in Broad Ripple are affordable. There seems to be a price category for all home shoppers, both high and low" ~K. Crawford

So, after hearing about some of the "awesomeness" I thought it would be a great idea to show you a few great finds in Broad Ripple.

Broad Ripple Real Estate

Wednesday, January 20, 2010 by Neal Group

Broad Ripple is located in North section of Indianapolis in Marion County and has many Indianapolis Properties. It is a very popular place to live and play. The Village is the Center of it all featuring a strip of Bars and Restaurants making it a great night life scene. There are many bars, which we locals call the "Broad Ripple Strip" or "Ripple". Dining includes Mexican, Steak Houses, Pubs, Fast Food, BBQ, and Seafood. For the outdoor enthusiasts there is a very popular walking trail called the Monon Trail that runs right the the heart. It is a paved trail that goes from Downtown Indianapolis up through the Northern Suburbs of Indianapolis, Carmel and Westfield.

Broad Ripple Real Estate offers many Indianapolis Indiana Homes. The heart of the Real Estate exists closet to the action. Many of the home are 1-2 story bungalows ranging from 100k-200+k. Many have basements and the homes are older with a lot of character. Some of the most popular homes have been completely remodeled with new granite kitchens, stainless appliances, new baths, new or refinished hardwood floors, and new exteriors. We also represent several investors who buy the homes in foreclosure and rehab them and sell "flip" them for a profit.

Indianapolis Real Estate For Sale is our speciality and we help many people buy and sell homes in the area. If you would like to know more about the area, need help finding a home, want to know more about investing in this area, or would like to find out what your  home is worth now feel free to call me, Andrew Neal, Realtor with CENTURY 21 Scheetz The Andrew Neal Group, anytime at 317-513-7695 or visit www.DealwithNeal.com.

Buying your first home-Tax Credit helps

Wednesday, January 13, 2010 by Creamer-Elson Team
When buying your first home, there is a lot to consider, but one of the first steps is to find a REALTOR who understands neighborhoods and Indiana home values.  For example, I, John Creamer, specialize in buying homes in Indianapolis Meridian-Kessler, Broad Ripple homes for sale, Wasington Township, Carmel Indiana or Fishers real estate.  Home prices Indianapolis may be tough to understand, but working with an experience REALTOR will remove the risk of not understanding what is a fair price.  Your first home, next home or your dream home call John Creamer (317)250-5646 or jcreamer@c21scheetz.com and start packing!

BREAKING NEWS: New Tax Credit is HERE!

Thursday, February 19, 2009 by Katie Bogan
New real estate Tax Credit brings money for YOU!
Yes, President Obama has now signed into effect a bill that supports first time homebuyers in the US, including those looking for Indiana homes for sale or Marion County real estate.

Remember the old $7500 Tax Credit, applied towards any Indy real estate that was supposed to help Indiana home values go up?

Well, LOOK OUT, as this new bill offers more money to more people and is expected to jumpstart the new season of home buying across the country, most importantly homes in Indianapolis.

Check out this video that explains the new bill in plain English:

Just imagine... combine this credit with awesomely low mortgage interest rates. The result is your very own piece of Indianapolis property, in  Downtown, Greenwood, Cumberland, Avon, Butler-Tarkington, Meridian-Kessler, Eagle Creek, Castleton, or anywhere else you can think of, easier than you could've possibly dreamed about a year ago!

Contact Katie Bogan of Century 21 Scheetz to get your own home in 2009 and claim your money!

Being a lifetime resident of the Indianapolis Indiana area it will sometimes just amaze me at the growth of downtown Indianapolis in the past 10 years.    The most impressive has been the amount of condos and town homes that are now available.  With new construction, conversions and bank owned homes, the choices are endless and the opportunities overwhelming.  It is best to consult an Indianapolis Realtor for suggestions on what works best for you!  There is a a cute near downtown condo for sale that it offered at a great price of $120,500.  It backs up against the Monon Trail and has been totally updated!   To check this out please give me a call at 317.814.8216 or email at lphillips@c21scheetz.com!

Holiday Lights and Great Things To Do in Indy

Monday, December 15, 2008 by Laura Heigl
Carmel Indiana Holiday LightsFriday evening, my husband and I were headed to a holiday party in Carmel Indiana and drove across 116th St.  We saw some really spectacular holiday lights.  I often get asked about banked own homes Indianapolis and the best known is the formal Hilbert Mansion on 116th Street...with a few years on the market, no one has jumped at that $20 million dollar price tag!  Across the street, is a home with a fabulous light display...it's worth a look so take your family and take a drive!  This party was simply lovely, the hosts have a daughter at the International School with one of my daughters and I recently enjoyed watching one of the hosts dance the role of the toymaker  in the Nutcracker.  There is a lot to do in Indy, and the offerings at Clowes are just one example. Clowes, on the Butler University Campus is convenient to the Indianapolis Meridian-Kessler area, and also terribly convenient to Downtown Indianapolis Homes. Both are wonderful places to live with character filled older homes.   At the party,  I got to meet several of the neighbors in this lovely well established neighborhood and had several good conversations about Carmel Real Estate.  One of the neighbors is a decorator and she enjoys updating homes in Carmel Indiana.  We had a great discussion about updating your home as you live in it to enjoy, not just to sell.  Holiday cheer brings out some of the best features of any home, take time to enjoy yours this December!

What is in store for Real Esate in Indanapolis 2009

Thursday, December 11, 2008 by Creamer-Elson Team

Home values in Indiana will increase in 2009. Home prices in Indiana may have presure from the national ecomony, however homes for sale in Indanapolis will still have good demand which should help real estate values in Indianapolis.

Downtown Indianapolis Real Esate will have it's ups and downs.  The condo market will make a slow recovery and the homes for sale downtown Indianapolis should see a lot of activity.

Homes for sale in Broad Ripple will continue to be a favorite of first time home buyers. One of the few markets that has remained somewhat strong through the down turn. Home values in Broad Ripple will be increasing as interest rates continue to drop.

Historic homes for sale in Indianapolis will also show strong value.  Meridian Kessler, one of the more popular historic neighborhoods will continue to have strong demand which should keep values strong.

For you frist home, next home or your dream home call John Creamer at (317)250-5646 or e-mail jcreamer@c21scheetz.com for over 20 years of experience as a Indianapolis Realtor.

Great School in a Neat Neighborhood

Wednesday, November 19, 2008 by Laura Heigl
ISI's Taurel BuildingI work with a lot of Relocation buyers looking for Indianapolis Homes for Sale.  I often get asked what makes Indy different in regards to schools.  Sure, we have great public schools with top rankings...you can't go wrong but we also have some interesting private school opportunities when considering Indianapolis Houses.  This afternoon, I picked up two of my children from the International School of Indiana  and thought I should mention it.  Who would ever guess children have an opportunity like this in the midwest!    ISI offers two language tracks (French and Spanish) in immersion tracks.  My seven year old is fluent in Spanish and English, my twelve year old in Spanish, French, and English.  ISI's motto is "Education without borders."  So true and so cool.  FORTY SEVEN different countries are represented at ISI.  All of this culture set right in the heart of Indianapolis, adjacent toButler University and a stone's throw away from the sought after Butler-Tarkington and Meridian Kessler neighborhoods.  I know plenty of people who walk their kids to school!  My husband and I, we drive ours from Zionsville...so if you're interested in Zionsville Real estate, there are plenty of carpools!  It is easy to shoot to Indy Downtown from school too!  Would you like to know more about ISI?  I'd love to talk to you about it...email me!
